Been driving the S130 the past few months, usually bouncing between using different attachments. Quick change with Bob-Tach is real nice, swaps out pretty fast for forks or a bucket and I can get right back to work. Visibility is better than other loaders I used, and the lights make working late shift not so terrible. On the downside, I don’t love the seat, could use more cushion, and the joystick controls take some getting used to if you haven’t run Bobcat before. The thing starts up easy every time, so reliability hasn’t been an issue. Not the cheapest loader out there, but if you need something that's easy to maintain and can squeeze into small areas, it does the trick.

I have used the Bobcat S130 during my projects. While its maneuverability in confined spaces is a major advantage, I noticed discomfort due to its shorter wheelbase. Repairs tend to be challenging given the compact layout of its components. Despite its limitations, this loader has its utility in specific scenarios.

I've used the Bobcat S130 for a few projects now. It's compact but doesn't lack power. The compact dimensions combined with smooth operation made it ideal for confined worksites.

I’ve been running the S130 for a couple years on all sorts of jobsites, mostly construction and landscaping. Main thing I notice about it: this loader’s got decent power for the size, but man, that fuel tank seems to drink a lot if you’re really working it hard. It’s pretty nimble, swings around easy in tight spaces. The new door is wide, but honestly, I still bang my boots getting in if I’m in a rush. Controls are basic enough, and the heated cab is a plus in winter. Maintenance stuff’s all right there when you need it, haven’t had it off the site for regular service yet. I just wish the ride was a bit smoother, you’ll feel every rock on a rough patch, especially after a few hours straight.

Had experience with a S130 Bobcat that was already repainted, so it’d seen some use. Everything inside is packed real tight - which makes servicing stuff a pain, especially if you need to get at the generator. You got to take out the hydraulic tank for a simple generator fix, that never gets less frustrating. Otherwise, it’s got typical Bobcat hydrostatic levers, decent Kubota motor, no real surprises there. Reliability is decent, no random breakdowns as long as you do routine maintenance. Still, because it’s so compact, nothing’s really comfortable about actually working in it. Bounces around a ton, especially with a full bucket. If you need a loader just for support jobs or for those narrow city contracts, fine. But don’t expect much comfort.
